ATMega2560 footprint wrong?

Hey Guys!

First off - great work on the program, i love it!

Anyways i was just working on an ATMega2560 based board and noticed that the footprint in the PCB section appears to be upside down - correct me if i am wrong, but it should be the pins from top down in that view?

Right now if the marker pin is in the top left position pin 1 should be on the left and 100 should be on the top... but it is reversed? Also i noticed that it starts on pin0 and goes to 99 ... but it should start on pin1 and go to 100.

Cheers,

Hi Chris,

This one is on our radar but we haven't gotten to it yet.

Hallo Jonathan,

I have to make a new layout with the Mega R3 as well. Can you give me a message when the Mega R3 is ready?  The current one is missing the 6 ICSP connections in the center.

Hi Ron,

We don't normally add the ICSP connector, because people normally don't require it and it would add unnecessary obstacles in your routing area. You can simply add the ICSP header yourself. The Arduino Mega PCB shape (that you can get by changing the "form" of the pcb in the inspector) has a marking for the ICSP. Though I'm not sure it's correct, I think there was a change at some point, so you need to check.

@Chris, I think you were talking about the pure IC instead, not the Arduino. Thanks, I think that's fixed in the next release.
