I am having a problem exporting a self designes Arduino shield into gerber format. The gerber is actually pretty accurate, but for some reason the contacts for the Ardiuno pin headers are the same size as the drill holes, meaning no contact is left and the pin headers cannot be soldered to the board.
Luckily, an employee noticed before the production, and I corrected the gerber files by manually reducing the drill hole sizes in the gerber file.
Is this a bug in the Arduino contact footprint specification, or am I using it wrong? As Fritzing seems to be somewhat geared at Arduino development, it seems strange that I should be the first one to notice…
