Hi Katendeallan,

I see that someone in the community (thanks Peter) has posted an L298 part, but I don't know whether it would serve your purpose.  To have a look, open this link and search for "l298".

If that part won't do, you have two choices.  You can use a mystery part, or you can create a custom part. The latter is rather tricky, so let me explain the mystery part first.

The mystery part is the last part under the "basic" section of the Parts Bin.  Drag it onto your sketch. Then use the Inspector (probably docked beneath the Parts Bin) to set the number of legs to 15.  You can also set the chip label to "L298".

To make a custom part you need to supply a number of svg images, with the correct formatting. Documentation for creating custom parts can be found here, and if you are more technically minded here. Bertrand Le Roy also wrote up a nice tutorial.

HTH,

Could you be more specific?  Did you look at the l298 part that Peter posted?  Did you check out the mytery part? Do you want to create your own custom part?
