A few bugs in the export function.

rickarddahlstrand 7 years, 5 months ago

Hi,

I have just made a simple RJ45 breakout board and found that when exporting this board to a PDF or SVG I get some strange effects:

- All text in the copper layer gets rendered as "logo", the text I entered is not there.
- The big holes gets rendered as one big blob, no hole.

Project-files are here:

http://fritzing.org/projects/single-sided-rj45-breakout/

Sample rendering of the file:

Kind Regards, Rickard.

Hi Rickard,

Confirming both bugs.  We will try to include a fix in the next release.

Thanks.

Hi Rickard,

Actually, the "logo" bug arises because the board in the project is single-sided, and the logo items are set to the copper top layer.  So if you either switch the board to double-sided, or switch the logo items to the copper bottom layer, it will fix the export problem.  So the bug was allowing the logo item to be switched to copper the copper top layer.
