First PCB Design - Questions + Advice?
I spent the last week or so deisging a PCB for the circuit in this instructable: http://www.instructables.com/id/Led-Cube-8x8x8/
>I've never desinged a PCB before, so I have a couple questions about my design. How much current can the standard thickness pcb wires in Frizting pass if I fabricate the board myself at home using a copper pcb? Some parts of my circuit need to pass up to 2 amps at a time, and I used the standard thickness wire everywhere. Will this work?
Also, are there any mistakes I could make in the design that wouldn't allow the circuit to function correctly? (assuming the circuit is logically correct)
Here's a screenshot of my layout in Frizting:

Your help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
About the trace thickness there was a similar thread:
http://fritzing.org/forum/thread/621/?page=all
The page there recommends a for 2 Amps and 35um thickness a with of 30mil
So according to this for 2 Amps the standard thickness with 24mil is too small

Wow, nice job! It is looking very good. You might want to look at the areas again where things are not completely symmetrical, such as the caps in the lower left. I'm also not sure what you have in mind with the jumper wires there, they seem to connect power and ground? But I assume that's just a workaround you put in.
When you start assembling, try to do it step by step and check each part as you go. It's almost certain that at this complexity you will have some mistakes, and this way it's easier to debug.
Good luck, and looking forward to the final piece!
Thanks for the great replies! I thickened up the power and ground lines, and I'm going to spend some time today checking everything against the schematics. I'll let you guys know how it turns out!
