Hey, I've got a PCB I've designed here with TO-92 transistors. I've found a suitable SOT-23 transistor now, and want to replace them all. The problem I am having is when I change the transistor package, all the traces connected to it disappear. I am using the latest version of Fritzing.
Thought I'd also mention another bug I've found. It seems as though after copy/pasting a part and it's associated traces a few times, traces on other parts randomly disappear. They will also disappear if I insert a pin header and change the number of pins it has. Restarting Fritzing fixes the issue.
I think what's happening is that the original trace is on the bottom layer so when you switch to SMD, Fritzing does not currently move the trace to the top layer. What you could do is select some set of traces on the bottom layer, and choose the "Move to the other side of the board" item from the Trace menu.
The second issue will be fixed in the next release.
