This variation allows you to utilise standard ethernet cable + RJ45 Connections to provide power/control to your LED strips running of a ULN2003A IC and Arduino Duemilanove

The Arduino Sketch + Software to capture and report screen colour averages can be downloaded from their website.

This version gives you 2 channels + RJ45 connections to connect the lights into (You could substitute these for alternative connectors but I'm familiar with ethernet cabling and found the connectors easy to solder onto.

I built mine using the existing PCB and case of an old broken ADSL modem.
