Darlington example

Uses two transistors.

Using two transistors, this circuit amplifies voltage received through the male connector behind the resistor (which protects the circuit) as if it were an antenna.

SAFETY WARNING - Like when working with high amperages, be careful when working with transistors, especially transistors arranged in a Darlington pair, as it could overheat and either partially explode or catch fire, both of which happened to me when I wasn't being careful (and both of which scared me.)

there is a good project about darlington amplifier on http://www.ldrengineering.org/am_receiver/ It shows how we can use the darlington circuit to make an AM receiver as well as a dark sensor. check it out.
