Takes a nominal 12v input voltage (10v to 15v) and gives you two outputs 8v and 12v.

Takes a nominal 12v input voltage (10v to 15v) and gives you two outputs 8v and 12v.

Uses large caps and will hold voltage on the 8v output for about 4 seconds after power is pulled. Should be good for use in cars.

This was made from some spare parts I had laying around, hack job on the protoshield, but it works.

The idea was to make a stable power supply for arduino in a automotive 12v enviroment.

Any suggestions are welcomed

Per the IC specs, it could take in from 10v to 35v, have not tested but I'm sure the IC's would make a lot of heat at any input voltage over 18v.
