openWIRE YO!  Ever heard patience is a virtue????

Here is your part... I suggest you dissect what has been done so you can preform this for yourself in the future. You were pretty close. BUT in a world where close doesn't count. Well you'd be stuck in the woods... I also suggest looking @ other SVG files to see their layout. I'm pretty sure you could have figured this out on your own!

Also, if I was you... I'd modifiy that file. I personally don't like the footprint, and wouldn't use it for production. That main hole needs better centering. I just helped you get what you wanted done accomplished. Hopefully that will help you figure out the parts process.

Here is a REV with the spacing a bit off the edge of the pad. A bit more usable if you ask me.

That file also seems decent in a Gerber export! :D have fun!

Thank you to all of you for the help and advice.

I think that a great tutorial to make parts is need it.

I had no idea about the layering of files and name conventions

I just start working in the file with the intention to get help so I can review the file and learn from it.  Again thanks for the help

All this will be coming together. You suggestion is noted. I agree we need better documentation and maybe even a few video tutorials. Something to come here in the future.
