Ich hab grad ein neues Bauteil gemacht (ein SOT-227 IGBT) aber es will nicht so ganz funktionieren, und zwar:
* Im Part Editor wird mir ein Silkscreen angezeigt, in der PCB Ansicht aber nicht.
* Das Bauteil hat 4 Pole, aber in der Breadboard Ansicht will apicht nur einer funktionieren
Ich häng das Bauteil mal an, ich hoffe mir kann emand weiterhelfen.

There are a number of problems with this part.
First, the Parts Editor cannot currently deal with parts that have bendable legs. It looks like you started out by editing a FET, instead I would suggest you start out by using a part like a pinheader or Generic IC, drag it onto your sketch, and set the number of pins to 4.
The second big problem is that the part definition looks like an SMD, but based on what I see in the PCB view image, you probably want a through-hole part. At the moment, the fzp says that the part's connectors are only on the copper top (copper1) layer, but the svg PCB image says that its connectors exist only on the copper bottom (copper0) layer.
If you start out with a through-hole part (like the pinheader or Generic IC suggested above), and open it in the Parts Editor, you might try selecting the "Show in Folder" option under the file menu--using these SVG images as examples will give you a better idea of how you have to create your own.

The problem is that the SOT-227 case is neither a SMD nor a hole-through part. It is normaly bolted to a heatsink and the contacts are screwed to wires or to a big copper busbar.
So I didn't know which one to use. (but I don' think ill need bendable legs ;) )

I found another really annoying bug in the part editor: When I create a contact pad I define the end point with the N, E, S, W, Center buttons and save, but Fritzing is plainly ignoring these settings and still snaps to the center of the pad when I draw connections. -.-
I am finding that the N,E,W,S settings are working fine as long as a do a 'Save' after I make the changes. Maybe email the part to info .at. fritzing .dot. org so we can take a look.
I wonder whether the TRRS2 audio jack would be a good part to start out with? Or at least as a model of a part with pads and holes.
