Run mode on Fritzing

I'm new user of Fritzing, Its a very nice software and the GUI is pretty cool .

I just want to know if, in a far future, you are thinking to a simulation mode?

I just dream that Arduino software could be merged or linked with Fritzing, an by pressing a simple "run" button it would possible to make the circuit works virtualy ! I already imagine the led blinking on the fritzing windows, a virtual oscilloscope or A.meter ....

I hope it will not be just a dream...

Well done and thanks you for your job,

A young french student.

Hi Rogerlette,

I don't like to disappoint anyone, especially when they're both young and French, but I'm afraid it's going to have to remain just a dream.  If you have a look at question number one in our FAQ, it may explain our reasoning.  Among other issues, it's not a small task.  To get an idea of the challenge, you might have a look at http://www.virtualbreadboard.net/VBB/VBBHOME/tabid/166/Default.aspx.

What we do hope to provide in some upcoming version is the ability to directly program an Arduino from Fritzing.  At present, we do have a programming window, but it's only hooked up to PICAXE microprocessors.

So maybe you will see that LED blinking, but on an actual arduino.

Cheers,

- j
