My first real PCB

All my previous projects had involved proto board and ugly point to point stuff. I finally decided to have a go a manufacturing my own board. I decided to start small, and settled on a very basic Arduino-clone that I laid out in Fritzing on my Mac.

I discovered that laser printing to photo stock and then using a laminator produced great results. I'd read about the issues with ironing and inconsistent pressure causing poor tracks etc - so figured a laminator should resolve that. And that it did!

I did a little write-up here: http://www.pocketscience.com.au/etching/etching.html>

Now on to bigger and better PCB's!

Cheers,

Gavin.

Very nice, thanks!

Yeah, OK - so what's with that? Posting a URL is broken - it's appending some extra characters on the end...

Hmm, never had any problems. I fixed your link above now.
