Latest download not working for Mac?
Hello,
I just downloaded fritzing.2011.08.18.v2.cocoa.dmg and when I try to open it I get the message that "Image data corrupted". I'm on Snow Leopard and I'm pretty sure the previous cocoa build worked fine.
Am I doing something wrong?
Hi,
I just downloaded the same file and it's fine for me on Snow Leopard. You might want to try downloading it again.
Cheers,
Gavin.
Hi Otherdave,
I agree with Gavin. Also make sure you download the one labeled "Mac OS 10.5" which really means "Mac OS 10.5 and up" and "Cocoa".

Thanks for the comments guys!
Something very odd - I tried downloading it with Chrome and it wasn't working (same errors as before). I switched to Safari and it worked like a charm. I can't explain it, but I'm happy now that it's worked.
I managed to launch fritzing 0.6.3 on 10.7.1 but it quits after a while.
Any serious work on any view as well as customisation of a component (setting 0,33nF for a capacitor) crash.
Hi Avenue33,
We'll look into the capacitance setting crash tomorrow (when we have access to a Lion machine). If you can be equally specific about the other crashes you've been experiencing, that would help us debug them.
Thanks.

for me frizting crashes sometimes when i copy or cut a part that is already connected to other parts, and then past it. can be any part, so it seems, and this happens sometimes sometimes not.. seemingly random.. but i dont think it is random.
osx 10.5.8
this has happend in versions 0.6.2b, 0.6.3b. and maybe others also.. dont remeber exactly.
Hi,
So far no luck replicating the bugs from Avenue33 and Gijs. If you think of any additional details let us know.
Thanks.

Hi,
the mac version (latest) doesn't work at all. (mac osx 10.6.8)
1.) autosave errors: temp file not found
2.) unable to load or import any parts by file
3.) unable to save any parts
4.) unable to use female pin head (image files are missing) female pin head 2 bread svg missing
Some File URLs are looking strange. For example macintosh hd/(myusername)/.config/fritzing/...
What's that about ".config" in the url?
