small 7 segment weird pinout help please...

Hey folks,

I just got in these small 7 segment numerical displays and am trying to make a Fritzing part for them. Having a rather hard time getting it to work though. I can make a footprint SVG in Illustrator, by editing another THT 10 pin 7 segment display footprint. When I'm done and try to use it though, it's a one-sided affair, the wrong side too...

For about a day i have been tryng to get this working, with no luck unfortunately. I am only interested in the PCB view, I only work in PCB view because that is where the fun is to be had for me.

Can someone please help me out? I'm interested in learning to get this working myself, but right now I'll take a ready made file to just go ahead with my build just as well...

kind regards,

Niels

Hi Niels,

Based on the description above, the pcb svg file is missing a <g id="copper1"> or <g id="copper0"> element.  Have a look at the "hole" pcb file we just looked at for an example.

Alright, will do. I hope to grok this at some point, but unfortunately I'm no good at coding.

Thanks Jonathan...
