Digital Compass with LCD

The digital compass sends the heading to Arduino which then elaborates the data, providing the result in degrees and direction (i.e. N,S,W,E) through serial USB and the LCD display. The potentiometer controls the LCD contrast.

Components:

  • Arduino Duemilanove
  • Digital Compass Module (sparkfun page)
  • Trimpot 10kΩ
  • LCD Display (LM093XMLN see attached datasheet)
