L293D Motor Driver with Potentiometer

Using a Potentiometer to accelerate a motor connected to the L293D and change the direction by pressing a button.

The Fritzing sketch should be fairly self-explanatory :)

The condensator is not nessary but good for avoiding the "Bürstenfeuer". Do not know how to call it in english.

Hallo, I have rebuiled your project with one motor and found that there is about 0,5V voltage more at the motor in one direction then in the other direction. Do you have an idea how this happens? Greatings
