To build a 4 way midi footswitch controller to trigger events in a sequencer or DAW.

Still in development.

Going to find a suitable box and fashion a top from Aluminium (Maybe 3/16") drill holes to accomodate 4 3PDT switches.

Mount the Arduino and Breadboard in the box.

October 2019 - I have all the parts now and a choice of the three schematics uploaded to this project. Fortunately I have two friends to help with the code. My intention is to attempt a trial build in the very near future. Thanks for your interest

Thanks Jero. A softer more durable switch sounds good. Being a novice I picked the foot switch that came up in my research. Now I have the 3PDT's I'll go ahead and maybe try your idea in another setup. Your interest is much appreciated.

Why 3pdt? I would rather use momentary stomp switches and use some logic in the arduino for handling the state for each of them. It would be cheaper and easier to hookup. I also find those switches softer and more durable.
