Switch power over internet with Telegram.

This projects goal is to switch a webcam off and on in order to reset this camera on a remote location. With this design you do not have to set router port forwards. This device will switch on the power by default, start as a wifi client and connects to Telegram. 

To keep the design very simple I used the Wemos(ESP8266+usb), a cheap power adapter and a solid state relais(230V, 2A). Because I only need 1 GPIO to switch there are plenty GPIO's to connect a RGB LED for several status. 

 

Blue blinking = waiting for WIFI to connect 

Green = power on the outlet 

Red = no power on the outlet
