Circuit to activate the shutter of my Sony A330, based on a light peak. Using a optocoupler to protect de 3.3V camera remote connection.

The Arduino Nano reads the light sensor values to determine when a light peak occurs.

At this time the opctoclouper close the positive contacts with the ground contact on the camera remote connector.

 

Sony Alpha 330 remote conecction pins :

1 - Foccus (+3.3V)

2 - Shutter (+3.3V)

3 - Gnd
