Yes I know we have seen this before... Here is my take on the traffic light project but for the UK.. If you drive in the UK the amber and red come on together before the green. Same as Europe?

This is an easy project to build and one that most amateurs, like me, will enjoy. This is my first project so I'm very proud of it :)

Making an LED flash is th efirst thing we learn, so once I mastered it I then had a look at the correct sequence of traffic lights here in the UK. Once noted I chose the pins to use. Used the Fritzing program to breadboard the project then cleaning up the schematic. Once I was happy I started buiding the breadboard, sadly the kit I have only had a small collection of resistors so I had to choose wisley so that the LEDs would be bright enough.

Once I had mastered the LED blink code I basically just re-wrote that to include the extra pins and experiment with delay times etc. Took me about 45 minutes in total to build.. (Don't laugh)...

It was a great grin factor when I plugged it in and it worked....
