Fritzing

The piezo is set to play the Happy Birthday song and the lcd prints "Happy Birthday" when the light sensor detects low light. No extra libraries for the piezo required. Can be customized with changes to the code.

To build this project you need the Liquid Crystal Display, or LCD, from the starter kit, a light sensor, two 220 Ohm resistors, and a piezo. The most difficult part is ensuring that the LCD is properly wired. Everything else is elementary; this is a very basic project that is only unique in that it requires no libraries to be installed for the code and doesn't use variables to tell the tone function what frequeny to use.
