Control the stepper motor on an 3.5" floppy drive from an Arduino

Very little wiring is required to control a floppy drive.

 

I've guessed at the delays required for the stepper motor, as my goal was simply to move the motor, not for any exact control.

The floppy drive needs to be connected to a 5 volt supply, as the arduino does not provide enough power.

 

I attached a standard ATX power supply for the floppy.
