Pistaduino project is thought as an useful tool for image and sound exhibitions, interactive spaces or even smart individual objects. It is the result of a course on interactive architectures carried out at the Polytechnic University of Madrid.

Pistaduino works as follows: it is able to receive signal from an HC-SR04 distance sensor, read it and play one or more tracks of any audio file depending on the received distance. For its development, I just needed an Arduino Starter Kit and my laptop. Regarding the programs, I mainly used Arduino and Processing, appart from some occasional use of other applications like Audacity or Photoshop.

With the prototype I developed, Pistaduino let us control the moment each track of a song appears or disappears by just creating directional movement in front of a distance sensor.
